Services

Our experience within the Commercial and Industrial sectors covers all environments, from small, single offices to substantial multi-office refurbishment in power stations which includes offices, boardrooms, staff facilities, reception areas, hygiene facilities and electrical stores room.

We have been extensively involved in refurbishments of existing offices, demolition of small buildings and have also worked in occupied premises and understanding the sensitivity required in these types of job.

These projects have included our complete portfolio of disciplines, from simple office interior restructuring, to comprehensive interior fit-out and multi discipline refurbishment packages.

At Geocam Contracts Ltd, we pride ourselves on our comprehensive suite of refurbishment and maintenance services. Alongside our commercial and Industrial interior refits, our disciplined approach to work has allowed us to provide full refurbishment packages to existing buildings, ensuring the delivery of a fully co-ordinated project to the customer.

Our projects range from controlled strip outs to restructuring of interior space and building extensions. We work closely with our customers to ensure that all refurbishment work is undertaken to meet their specific needs, providing proactive management of the
project guaranteeing a hassle free result.

Work in Occupied Premises

Refurbishment projects can involve working in partially occupied buildings, meaning the rest of the building needs to be in daily use. As such projects will require a particularly high level of sensitivity; we work very closely with the customer so that all measures are in place to ensure the safety of the occupants and the maintenance of environmental standards throughout. If necessary, work will be undertaken out of working hours to minimise disturbance and disruption of normal working practise.
This could include redirection of walkways, full HSE signage and if needed work will be undertaken by CDM regulation (Construction Designed Management).

DDA Requirements

Our experience includes providing solutions in line with the requirements of the Disabled Persons legislation. (Disabled Discrimination Act.) We have undertaken several modification projects to convert existing access levels to meet the DDA regulation, which has included the refurbishment of hygiene facilities (toilets, washrooms etc) within the commercial and Industrial environment.

Committed to Training and Development

All our professionals are certified within their own specialist field. In addition their certification is regularly assessed and updated. For every project they will receive site specific safety information, induction courses, asbestos awareness and GT 2010 toolbox training in line with any project requirements.
All individuals are trained and briefed on how to interpret and understand the safety file, this is so all personnel signing against their names prior to commencing work, fully comprehend all risks and methods involved in the work they are about to undertake.
Copies of all training certificates and licences will be listed and filed in the safety file, this is then supplied to the customer, before any job commences. All jobs requiring a trained professional will only be undertaken by licensed and accredited operatives.

All our operatives hold up to date CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Or CCNSG National Course (Safety Passport Card), both cards are nationally recognised by the HSE Department, thus proving individual’s skill and competence to complete any works required.
